Our last night

Chloe has been having so much fun with her cousins. While the girls are at school she gets to play with Scotty. They like to run around and get into mischief together and Scotty lets her play with all his toys. I think she'll really miss them. Hopefully we come back to visit soon.
I've been giving them a bath together every night and, last night Scotty was teaching her how to swim like a fish.

Here are some pictures from my sister's camera that we took on easter. This is after church in Noi's front yard..

Here they are hunting for easter eggs in the backyard. Here is Scotty shaking the tree trying to get the egg out of the tree.He got it!

Shopping and more

I have Easter pics to post of Chloe and her cousins but, I didn't bring my usb cord so they won't be up until I get back.
Noi has been taking me to do lots of stuff. A lot of errands for church because she is in charge of the Relief Society birthday dinner. But today we got up early and went to Round Rock to the outlet mall. They had tons of stores, like Polo, Michael Kors(where Noi got a really cute purse and wallet there for her bday present),BCBGirls, Osh Kosh, Gymboree. The list goes on and on. I have a few days till I go back to Dallas to my mom's house for a couple days, then Chloe and I are off to Houston to visit my friend Hillary. I'm so excited to see her. We've been friends since elementary school. And I was even one of her bridesmaids. I'm excited that she moved from Utah to Texas! It's so much closer to Goergia.

Texas

Chloe and I got to Texas on wenesday and so far it's been a lot of fun. First we flew into Dallas to to my mom's house to visit for a couple days and have an early birthday cake for Noi's birthday. She'll be 28 on the 25th. Now we are down in Harker Heights where Noi lives. It's about a 2 hour drive from Dallas. Chloe is having a blast with her cousins. I'll post pictures soon!

Take this test!
Being a parent has never looked so classy! Understated and always tasteful, someone as timelessly chic as you isn't easy to come by. So it makes sense that your Hollywood mom match would be the super-sweet and ever-elegant Reese Witherspoon. Sure, you still deal with spit up and changing diapers: The difference is that you manage to look good even when handling the basics of momhood. And beyond your poise and appearances you still shine with the knowledge that no matter what, family comes first and if you don't have family you don't have much.

Somehow, with a million things to juggle, you always make it look effortless. So even if you're not from Hollywood, you can sure play the part. Now that's a class act!

The Easter Bunny

I ran up to Walmart to get Chloe her soy milk and we ran into the easter bunny. They were taking free pictures so I let Chloe take a picture. She didn't know what to think it. We didn't get her to smile but, at least she's looking at the camera!

Family Fun Day

Today Jim took the day off and surprised us with a trip to the Georgia Aquarium. It was a lot of fun. We stopped at Smokey Bones for lunch and then drove all the way to Atlanta. Chloe has lots of books with fish in them so she loved it. She talks a lot now but, it's so funny how she pronouces words a little strange still. When she says fisheys she really says bishee. The Aquarium was a lot of fun but, to be completely honest I didn't think it was as great as everyone says. I thought it would be a lot bigger. I was very surprised that the fish and beluga whales weren't shy or scared to come to the glass. I guess they're used to lots of poeple staring at them.
I also saw a lot of sea creatures I didn't even know existed. Like the spider crab! My favorite was the little sea horses, and sea dragons. Chloe loved going outside to see the sea lions do tricks.
After we left the Aquarium we went across the street to the park. They had a huge park with 3 different playgrounds. One was made just for little ones... Chloe's size. The slides were right at her level. All in all it was a great day. Jim knew he had a very busy work schedule this week, so he took the time off to spend it with us before Chloe and I leave for Texas, next wednesday. We'll be gone for 2 whole weeks. I'm very excited to see my mom, sister and my nieces and nephew. I haven't seen them since November. I'm very thankful they don't live far. They're just a 2 hour plane ride away.

Park Fun

Monday afternoon I borrowed my brother in law John's car and took Chloe to the Madison Park to eat lunch and play since it was so nice out. There were lots of other kids for her to play with. They were all bigger than her though. But, she tends to play better with bigger kids because she's a little bossy. She had a lot of fun playing on the jungle jim and running around the park. She played so hard that she fell asleep in the car on the way home. I didn't get to take very many pictures cause I was so nervous that she would fall off the jungle jim and get hurt. And it's so hard for me to get her to hold still long enough to to get a good picture. I think I need a camera with a faster shutter speed.

Rainy day...

Yesterday was we had horrible weather. It rained and rained all day. So we stayed in. Chloe has a lot of outside toys in her room though. So keeping her occupied isn't too hard. She likes to play in her house and Jimmy just got her a cozy coop a couple weeks ago.

If all else fails give her a box and it'll keep her entertained for awhile.

An update...

I didn't make it to church today :( I did try but, there was so much to get done before Monday. Now that Jimmy is managing O'hara's Resturant after he gets off work at Youngblood. I have twice as much laudry and ironing to do. Because he insist on changing his shirt before he goes to work at O'hara's. I miss the days when I used to send all his work clothse to the cleaners. It just gets to expensive at $3.00/shirt and $5.00/pant. I'd rather spend the money else where. I guess laundry comes with the job(stay at home mom). Although I can't complain because I have been blessed to be able to stay at home with Chloe while she's little. This past week has been crazy though. We've been cooped up in the house. And Chloe has discovered that she can use her toys as step stools for climbing. I cannot keep her off the dressers, and all the tables in our home. I'm so afraid that she'll fall and break a limb. I have tried everything from timeout to taking away toys. I just don't know what to do. How do you disipline a 22month old child? If anyone has ANY advice please help!
